Trissential is seeking a Consultant, SCADA Systems Analyst to join our client team in a hybrid role based in Minneapolis, MN; Golden, CO; or Amarillo, TX. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting dynamic construction projects, collaborating with team leads, and working closely with field technicians to implement cutting-edge energy management solutions. Your expertise will help ensure seamless integration of new systems, from building RTUs from scratch to ensuring they meet project specifications. Responsibilities:
Support construction projects by building new RTUs (Remote Terminal Units) and working on SCADA database and display systems
Collaborate with team leads to gather project details and track progress using internal systems like SI Tracker
Ensure compliance with company guidelines and support the sign-off process with field engineers
Attend weekly team meetings, and provide ongoing support to field technicians during live system implementations
Manage the cradle-to-grave project lifecycle, ensuring tasks are completed on time and meet all technical requirements
Qualifications:
3-7 years of experience with SCADA systems, specifically GE XA/21 or similar platforms such as Schneider Electric
Strong background in ICCP (Inter-Control Center Communications Protocol) and real-time exchange systems
Proficiency in database management and display building, including tools like AutoCAD
Utility or power grid sector experience, particularly in supporting real-time operations
High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering is preferred
Strong, clear, and effective communication skills
Essential skills:
Experience with NERC-SIP (Critical Infrastructure Protection) compliance
Organizational and accountability skills in a team-oriented environment
Ability to collaborate effectively with field technicians and project managers
Desired skills:
PMP certification is a plus, though not required
