Job Description
AHRC New York City is seeking Direct Support Professionals with a valid DRIVER LICENSE for our Bronx Day Programs. The starting pay rate for this position is $17 per hour with an increase to $18 per hour after six months if in good standing. In addition, upon completion of the AHRC Defensive Driving course you will be eligible for an additional annual bonus of $2,000. This position also comes with a very generous benefit package which includes Full Medical Insurance Paid by AHRC at No Cost to You and more...see Benefits below.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 hours shift.
Responsibilities:
Work with participants by assisting them to learn and develop social skills, daily living skills and habits.
Responsible for doing pickups and drop offs of the people we support from their residences to the day programs..
Transport participants to appointments, social outings, and other activities.
Complete daily progress reports.
