Job Description
With leadership from immediate supervisor, this position is responsible for the safe and effective use of all people in meeting customer expectations. Safety, sanitation, housekeeping, GMP standards, problem solving ability as well as good employee relations are considered key elements to success.
Responsibilities:
Follow all safety and environmental rules and regulations applicable to position.
Adhere to and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP requirements
Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety, food safety, environmental, GMP rules, regulations and policies
Monitor, review and suggest/direct initiatives for continuous improvement in all areas of operations
Provide leadership and guidance to your team and effectively communicate to the other shifts
Review employee performance and assist in employee development
Order pallets and maintain CHEP program
Coordinate daily review of shipping documentation
Coordinate monthly inventory
Coordinate maintenance of forklifts and batteries
