Responsibilities:
The Systems Administrator is responsible for application support, monitoring, and deployment within a primarily Windows based environment. Regular job responsibilities will involve supporting a variety of technologies, customer and team driven projects, handling trouble tickets on a priority basis, participation in tasks related to helpdesk and desktop support service orders required to meet customer needs. Some travel may be required. A comprehensive performance management plan will involve the identification, discussion and implementation of personal and business related objectives and goals aimed at career and team development.
To communicate with technical and non-technical individuals and teams
Work in a fast paced and dynamic production environment
Must be able to work independently with little supervision
Handle multiple tasks and projects with various and changing levels of priority
Provide technical support and direction to individuals and teams
Work irregular hours and on call rotation to meet business requirements
Strong customer service focus and sense of urgency
Superior problem solving and analytical skills
Dependable, self-motivated, organized, strong verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications:
Microsoft Windows Server technology for a minimum of four years
Web Server technologies for a minimum of two years
Azure/AWS for a minimum of one year
Solid knowledge of networking concepts and technologies (protocols, software & HW components)
Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent working
experience
Microsoft Certified Systems Associate (MCSA) or equivalent certification(s)
Preferred Experience:
SQL Server
Linux
Kubernetes
Splunk, SolarWinds/Orion, Scripting languages for systems management and monitoring
