A rewarding opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Business Partner to lead a small HR team in supporting two academies in Brighton.
Key duties of the role include:
* Supervising two staff
* To partner with Principals and schools' leaders and build relationships with key stakeholders
* Provide appropriate advice and guidance to the Academies in line with Trust policies and best practice
* Provide coaching and guidance to management dealing with complex ER cases
* Maintain administrative overview of key employment information including starters/leavers, benefits, payroll and the appraisal process
On a personal note, you will be degree educated or equivalent (minimum CIPD Level 5) with established experience of working within a HR role in education. You will have a solid understanding of employment law and be effective in communicating across a diverse group of stakeholders. A good working knowledge of HR systems such as PeopleHR, SIMs or BromCom is desirable.
This role is a busy hands-on operational position and will be a working model of four days onsite and one day working from home, 37 hours per week., 52 weeks of the year.
