About the role:

As a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in helping young learners achieve their academic and personal goals. This is a part-time position focused on providing booster sessions and interventions to support students who need a little extra guidance. You’ll be working with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them engage in lessons and activities. This role is perfect for someone who’s passionate about making a real difference in students’ lives, offering tailored support to help them thrive in their learning journey.

Application Requirements:

• Previous experience working with young children, ideally in a Key Stage 1 setting.

• A strong understanding of SEN and how to support children with special needs.

• A patient, empathetic, and positive approach to working with children.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted interventions and booster sessions for Key Stage 1 students.

• Work 1:1 or with small groups of children to support their learning needs.

• Assist in classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment.

• Support students with SEN, ensuring they can access the curriculum and make progress.

• Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
