Requirements
Minimum of 2-5 years of California employment law experience.
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the State Bar of California.
Strong academic credentials and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with business disputes, wage and hour claims, and class actions preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
Responsibilities:
Represent clients in a variety of employment law matters, including wage and hour disputes, whistleblowing, discrimination cases, and class actions.
Handle both defense and plaintiff cases, providing comprehensive legal support and strategic counsel.
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, and interact with clients and opposing counsel.
Participate in depositions, court appearances, and other litigation proceedings as needed.
Demonstrate autonomy and initiative in managing caseloads while fostering collaborative relationships within the firm.
