SEMH Teaching Assistant | Warrington | Long-term
A Warrington SEN School in WA2 is seeking a Teaching Assistant with experience supporting those with Social, Emotional Mental Health (SEMH).
Students with SEMH have difficulty in building and maintaing relationships with peers and adults; they can also struggle to engage with learning and to cope in the classroom without additional strategies and interventions. Typical characteristics can inclunde Disruptive, unwanted behaviour, uncooperation, frustration, anxiety and withdrawal.
As a result, we are seeking an experienced teacher who will understand these needs and behaviours who will take the time to build relationships with these students. The school would like a Teaching Assistant who can contribue to creating a safe environment within the classroom.
This is a full-time, long-term opportunity to start immediately until July 2025.
