Responsibilities
Help manage the back office staff as well as the systems and operations
Responsible for traveling crates of orthodontic supplies between multiple locations
Keeps the patient schedule on time by being aware of the daily schedule, working efficiently, and as a member of a cohesive team
Assists the orthodontist with all assisting duties, including orthodontic procedures, takes x-rays as prescribed
Maintains cleanliness of treatment rooms and sterilization area, complies with HIPAA, and maintains confidential information
Proficient in conflict resolution and problem-solving techniques in managing interpersonal conflict and patient complaints. Is organized, motivated, committed, and self-directed
Qualifications
1 year of previous orthodontic lead experience
In-depth knowledge of all orthodontics dental assistant duties
All required certifications for dental assisting
Ability to travel to multiple locations within a territory to provide orthodontic dental assisting services is required
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
