Owen Daneils are supporting a leading Aerospace business in Redditch in recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer on a permanent basis.
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 p.a.
The Role:
Process Design & Improvement: Develop, optimize, and implement manufacturing processes for aerospace components, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Production Support: Provide technical support to the production team to resolve manufacturing issues and ensure smooth operations.
Continuous Improvement: Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and enhance overall efficiency.
Tooling & Equipment: Design and manage tooling and fixtures for the production line, ensuring they meet the requirements for precision, repeatability, and safety.
Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure all processes meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards, such as AS9100 or ISO9001.
New Product Introduction (NPI): Support the introduction of new aerospace products by developing manufacturing processes, performing risk assessments, and conducting pilot runs.
Data Analysis: Use data-driven methods to monitor and improve manufacturing performance, including yield, throughput, and downtime.
The Candidate:
As the successful candidate for the Manufacturing Engineer, you will have the following:
Minimum of 2+ years experience as a Manufacturing Engineer
Experience within Manufacturing, ideally Aerospace
Excellent Communication & I.T Skills
