The Role:

As the Deputy Care Home Manager, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and service delivery. You’ll work closely with the Home Manager to lead, support, and inspire the care team, while also building strong relationships with residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead & Manage Care Staff: Oversee, mentor, and develop a team of dedicated care professionals to deliver outstanding care.
Care Plan Development: Assist with pre-admission assessments and ensure that residents' care plans and daily records are up to date, accurate, and personalised.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the home adheres to CQC standards, delivering care that meets the highest regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with external care professionals, families, and visitors.
Promote Ownership of Care Plans: Involve residents and their families in creating, agreeing, and evaluating care programs, ensuring person-centred care at all times.
What We’re Looking For:

Previous Deputy Home Manager experience in a similar setting
NMC PIN registration
Strong working knowledge of CQC standards
The ability to engage with service users to understand their needs and deliver high-quality, personalised care
Excellent relationship-building skills with staff, families, and external care professionals
A compassionate, proactive approach to care management
