An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a committed Care Home Deputy Manager in Eye, Suffolk.

Salary: £35,000 per year, depending on experience.

Contract: Permanent, full-time role.

Please note, we do not currently offer sponsorship opportunities for this role. If you are not a UK resident, you must be able to provide valid proof of your right to work.

About the Role
As our Deputy Manager, you will assist in managing operations within the home to meet or exceed goals, ensuring the provision of high-quality care. You will oversee the care staff and may be expected to assume full management responsibility in the absence of the Home Manager.
Through direct instruction and by setting a positive example, you will help train and supervise care staff in all aspects of their work. You will assist the Home Manager with pre-admission assessments of residents, ensure each resident's care plan and daily records are kept up to date, and foster effective communication with residents' families and other organisations.

Reports to: Home Manager.

Skills and Attributes
Previous Deputy Home Manager experience.
Ability to engage with service users to understand their needs and provide excellent care services.
Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and the staff team.
Ability to promote ownership of care programmes by involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating care plans within the home.Benefits
