Location: S3 Area, Sheffield (Mainstream Primary School, SEN Provision)
Start Date: Monday, 4th November
Working Hours: Full-time, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience)

We are seeking a dedicated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school located in the S3 area of Sheffield, supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) within the on-site SEN provision. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about helping children with additional needs to thrive in a caring and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide 1:1 or small group support for students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
* Assist the class teacher in implementing personalized learning plans and strategies.
* Support students in their social, emotional, and academic development.
* Promote positive behavior and engagement in learning activities.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and other support staff to ensure the needs of each child are met.
* Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Skills & Qualities Required:

* Experience working with children with SEN is essential.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging behavior.
* A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of children with additional needs.
* Team player, willing to collaborate with staff and contribute to the wider school community.
