We are currently recruiting for an experienced Lift Service Engineer, to be assigned to a condensed route in the area of Waltham Forest, managing a total of 66 units on a monthly basis. The successful applicant will be an NVQ 3, J-Module or BTEC Qualified Engineer in Lift Engineering, with a minimum of 3+ years managing a service route independently, and ideally live within a 1 hour commute of the Waltham Forest area.
The role will involve the following duties;
* Performing regular maintenance on 66 residential lift units in accordance with the service contract.
* Ensuring lifts are safe, operational, and meet all legal safety requirements.
* Carrying out inspections, lubrication, and adjustments to prevent breakdowns.
* Be available for on-call emergency support during assigned weeks (1 week in 4).
* Responding to emergency callouts, assessing and fixing urgent issues to minimise downtime for residents.
* Maintaining professional communication with residents, building management, and other stakeholders.
* Addressing customer concerns and provide technical support when necessary.
The role offers an excellent remuneration package, including;
* A basic salary of up to £46,000pa depending on experience.
* Contracted hours of 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday; overtime paid at enhanced rates.
* 25 days' annual leave, plus Bank Holidays and 2 extra days' holiday for Christmas, along with your birthday off every year.
* A company van and universal fuel card.
* All uniform, PPE and tooling provided.
* Company bonus scheme paid on a quarterly basis.
* Christmas bonuses.
* Company healthcare plan and additional benefits.
