What you will be doing:

In your position, you must be a role model to your team and the business. You commit to maintaining high standards of behaviour and personal appearance and endeavour to contribute to our quality and service ethos. You will be responsible for:

Ensuring adherence to all Health and Safety policies adopted by OAR
Maintain excellent GMP standards at all times, delivering quality standards required of customers and external audits, for example BRC
To manage and control set KPI's - Productivity, Labour, Training, Recruitment / Retention, Downtime and Waste
Proactive day to day problem solving to ensure daily plan is met - this includes bottleneck management and team management to ensure throughputs are maintained at target levels
To carry out the HR function of the shift, in dealing with development and staff management, which will involve RTW's, investigations and disciplinaries.
Ensure the smooth running of the core business by liaising professionally with department leaders to co-ordinate stock, production, picking and dispatch
To motivate, manage, train and develop team workers and also, the interviewing, recruitment and retention of new starters
