The Role

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging science lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4
Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback
Contribute to the development of the science curriculum
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning strategies
Participate in extracurricular activities and school events
Qualifications and Experience
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Degree in a relevant scientific discipline
Proven track record of successful science teaching at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge across biology, chemistry, and physics
Additional Opportunity
For the right candidate, there is an exciting prospect to take on a Head of Chemistry role with a TLR 2.
This leadership position would involve:
Developing creative and challenging Chemistry programmes of study
Leading and managing the Chemistry department
Ensuring high standards of teaching and learning in Chemistry
Salary and Benefits
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Potential TLR 2 for Head of Chemistry role
