As you will be covering a maternity position, you will be coming into a team that's well-established, and well-positioned for a teacher to bring their unique qualities to the role! Their state-of-the-art facilities and equipment have recently been renovated to maximise student engagement across the curriculum.

The Role of a Science Teacher:

Teach all 3 Science across KS3 and KS4, including STEM projects
Starting January 2025, Full time - until the end of term 6
Plan outstanding lessons that meet the needs of students of all abilities, supported by the current teacher
Take on the role of Tutor, delivering the PSHE/Values curriculum to your own tutor group
Ensure positivity is at the heart of all interactions, promoting enriching learning environments The Ideal Science Teacher will:

Be confident teaching Science to KS3 & KS4 Level, potentially KS5
Hold a Teaching qualification (with QTS) or equivalent
Meet the learning needs of key identified groups, including HPAs or students with SEND
Be approachable, engaging and nurturing
Have strong behaviour management skills
