Job Title: Associate Project Manager

Location: Manchester

Salary: £60,000 and Above ( Depdning upon experience)

Type: Full-time

About Us: We are working on behalf of a leading consultancy firm dedicated to delivering high-quality services across a variety of projects. Our team is composed of professionals committed to excellence and innovation, and we are currently seeking an experienced Associate to join our dynamic team.

Role Purpose: As an Associate, you will provide consultancy services and manage all aspects of service delivery from inception to completion. You will play a crucial role in mentoring junior staff and contributing to business development efforts, including leading bids and securing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

* Serve as the primary contact for direct commissions and maintain strong client relationships.

* Ensure the quality and timely delivery of services while adhering to contractual obligations.

* Manage internal resources effectively to meet project deadlines.

* Generate repeat business from existing clients and secure new commissions.

* Prepare fee proposals, invoices, and support in debt recovery.

* Represent the firm at external networking events and contribute to strategic planning.

* Mentor junior staff, assisting with their professional development and APC training.

* Ensure compliance with relevant codes of conduct and health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a construction-related organization.

* Proven experience in workload planning and resource management.

* Strong budget management and financial planning skills.

* Excellent knowledge of procurement routes and building contracts.

* Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.

* BSc or equivalent in a construction-related discipline is essential.

* Chartered with the RICS or equivalent is desirable but not mandatory.

* Must hold a valid driving license and have access to a car.
