Registered Children’s Home Manager | Wednesbury | Full Time | £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience and qualification, OTE £70,000

Our client is seeking a New Registered Manager for their newly refurbished home In Wednesbury. The ideal candidate will be Responsible for the effective and efficient management of a new or existing residential home specialising in meeting the needs of individual Young People

Our client creates nurturing havens for children and young people, fostering a secure and supportive environment.

As the Registered Residential Home Manager, you'll spearhead the effective management of either a new or existing residential home, specialising in meeting the unique needs of individual young people.

Are you the right person for the job?

Experience as an acting Home Manager or Deputy Manager in a children’s home
Two years' recent experience in children’s/young people’s residential care
Proficiency in working with young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and a strong grasp of therapeutic strategies
Sound knowledge of relevant Looked After Children (LAC) procedures
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent, or actively pursuing this qualification
Full manual driver’s licence
What will your role look like?

In this role, you will manage all aspects of the day-to-day running of the home, including:

To Register a new home with OFSTED and work towards obtaining a ‘good’ or above with OFTED
To work with HR to recruit and develop a new team for the Home
Planning and delivering quality support to young people
Establishing and maintaining effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
Developing and managing an efficient team of staff
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
Managing resources effectively and reporting concerns as needed
Implementing and managing administrative systems as required
