Paramount Personnel are recruiting for a talented and enthusiastic assistant financial controller, for our client, a luxury Hotel in the St Austell area. A great opportunity to join an independently owned Hotel, with great career progression opportunities. The successful candidate, will ideally have experience in a similar role from a hospitality background, with AAT Level 4 qualification.

As the Assistant Financial Controller, you will report directly to the Financial Controller and engage in all financial aspects of the business. A perfect opportunity for a confident and attentive individual to have a contributing factor to the financial aspects of the Hotel, by carrying out financial robust controls, precise accounting and adhering to company financial policies.

Assistant Financial Controller Key responsibilities;

* Lead daily operations of the the accounts department

* Collaborate with HR to support admin.

* Process payroll with accuracy and on schedule.

* Execute month end bookkeeping and accounts.

The successful assistant financial controller will ideally have AAT Level 4 and/or managerial/supervisory experience from a hospitality background, be a self-motivated and determined individual, have initiative to make sound financial decisions, strong bookkeeping and accountancy abilities and most importantly, be able to work well within a good team!
