Quantity Surveyor – HS2 – Birmingham

AA Euro Group have been retained to hire Quantity Surveyors for a large infrastructure project in Birmingham,

Role Purpose:

Assists in the companies commercial position by developing and implementing an in-depth knowledge of contractual, commercial, insurance and legal processes relating to contracts.

Responsibilities:

* Reporting to a Project Manager or Commercial Manager for relevant commercial aspects of a section of a project

* In depth knowledge and experience of contractual, commercial, insurance and legal processes

* Effective client relationship management to encourage smooth commercial progression of the contract(s)

* Demonstrates and maintains a high level of commercial and technical knowledge and works closely with the delivery team to develop techniques and solutions to meet business and customer needs

* Prepare subcontract invitations to tender and evaluate tender returns and make recommendations to appoint and places subcontracts accurately and on time

Experience:

* BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or experience equivalent

* Membership of RICS, ICES or CIOB

* Previous experience working in a civils/infrastructure project as a Quantity Surveyor
