Substance Misuse Caseworker

£25,000 per annum

37 hours a week

Brook Street Social Care are recruiting for a passionate Substance Misuse Caseworker to support individuals with drug and alcohol dependency issues. You will work with service users in both community and criminal justice settings, helping them access treatment, reduce dependence, and improve their overall well-being.

The role will be for a period of 4-5 months working in the Swansea area with weekly play.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Supporting individuals to overcome substance-related issues and promoting healthier lifestyles.
Working closely with partner agencies to meet client needs.
Providing aftercare, peer support, and online recovery resources.
Encouraging participation in local and national recovery events.
This role requires flexibility, as you will work outside of normal hours to engage with those who may have difficulty accessing services.Requirements:

Experience in substance misuse or related field
Commitment to non-judgemental, person-centred care
