Purpose: This role will be responsible for expanding our existing customer base, generating new business, and driving sales across the Swansea, Cardiff, Newport, and Bristol regions. You will be actively engaging with potential clients through canvassing, direct outreach on LinkedIn, telesales follow-ups, and managing customer relationships on our CRM system.

Key Responsibilities

• Canvassing and direct outreach to potential clients through LinkedIn, telephone, and face-to-face interactions

• Follow up on sales leads and manage relationships, updating records and activities in the CRM system

• Develop an understanding of our services and stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and innovations

• Manage and grow the existing customer base by building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients

• Identify new sales opportunities and convert them into new business

• Develop and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure consistent sales growth

• Conduct site visits to assess client needs and provide tailored quotations

• Attend industry events and conferences to increase company visibility and build relationships with potential clients

• Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs

Person specification

Personable and Approachable: You should be friendly, engaging, and able to build rapport quickly with clients and team members alike. Welsh Speaking desirable but not essential.

Professional and Confident: You should project confidence in all interactions, especially when handling negotiations and delivering client presentations.Thorough, with attention to detail and able to analyse information from a variety of sources

Highly Organised: Able to manage multiple accounts, stay on top of follow-ups, and ensure that tasks are completed accurately and on time. A "complete finisher" who ensures nothing is left undone

Market Awareness: Knowledge of commercial cleaning services and an understanding of the marketplace, competitors, and innovations is a plus.

Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to clients. Travel across South Wales/Bristol to support with activity.

Proven Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in sales and business development, preferably in the commercial cleaning industry, facilities management, or a related field

Resilient and Persistent: Sales can be challenging, so the ideal candidate should be determined, resilient in the face of setbacks, and focused on achieving their goals.
