Location: Remote

Salary: £25,000 to £35,000 (pro rata)

Position: Part time (20 hours a week), Permanent

About the company

Our client is a small but rapidly growing flood risk, water and environment business with an industry recognised leadership team. They are looking to recruit a team member within the flood risk and modelling team after continued success in their existing work and multiple recent project wins.

They are a fully remote team with colleagues situated across the country, including London, Birmingham and Glasgow - but don’t worry, they still provide opportunities to socialise with colleagues throughout the year.

About the Role

They have an exciting vacancy for an experienced Project Controller. The successful applicant will have had experience in a similar role, supporting the delivery of projects on time.

Project Coordination: Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams (e.g., production, quality control, logistics) to ensure smooth project progression and resolve any issues that may arise.
Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and any other relevant records.
Timeline Management: Track project milestones and deadlines, ensuring timely completion of all tasks. Provide regular updates to the Project Manager and escalate any potential delays or issues.
Resource Allocation: Coordinate with department heads to ensure that the necessary resources (personnel, materials, equipment, data) are available and allocated to projects as required.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes.
Working closely with the project Delivery Team Lead daily ensuring project timeframes are all up to date to inform Work In Progress.
Working closely with the project Head of Operations daily ensuring all payments are tracked.

They are looking for someone that is hard-working, well-organised, motivated, enthusiastic, flexible. You will be able to work independently and as part of a distributed team and can communicate effectively both in writing and verbally with colleagues and clients alike.

In addition, you will have:

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Commitment to delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
Qualifications and Experience:

Strong organisational and time management skills.
Experience using a CRM like Hubspot.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Notion, Trello, Asana).
