Job Overview:

Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center.  We have an opportunity for a part-time Occupational Therapist to join our Rehab team.

This position is a Part Time, Exempt and Benefits Eligible.  The pay rang for this position is $43.21 - $54.00/ hourly.  Compensation is based on years of expeience and departmental equity. 

Responsibilities:

The Occupational Staff Therapist Position provides evaluation and therapy services, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transition of care, in an efficient, age-appropriate, and culturally sensitive manner. 

Works with medical staff and the multidisciplinary team to design and implement individualized plans of care to meet the needs of the pediatric patients and their family.

Functions as a team member and develops leadership skills through activities such as: mentoring, and providing education to students and other professionals.

Supports the ongoing development and improvement of the department through participation in special projects, performance improvement and facility committees.

Qualifications:

Education

Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy required.

Certification/Licensure

Licensed in State of practice

American Heart Association BLS required

PCS, OCS, NCS and CHT preferred

Skills

1 year Occupational Therapy experience preferred

New graduates considered

Pediatric experience preferred
