Overview:
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as a key strategic partner to the San Bernardino production facility, providing comprehensive HR support to over 500 hourly and salaried associates throughout their employment life cycle. This role encompasses a broad range of HR functions, including but not limited to onboarding, coaching, performance management, employee engagement, employee relations, and talent management.
As a member of the San Bernardino People team, the HRBP will drive initiatives aimed at enhancing the employee experience and fostering a positive work environment at the plant location. This individual will work closely with the broader People team to implement strategies that align with company objectives, ensuring consistency and compliance in HR practices.
Candidates should bring a passion for continuous improvement and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities to streamline and standardize HR processes, driving efficiency and creating a culture of operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Act as a strategic HR Business Partner to the Plant Leadership Team, leading and executing HR initiatives that align with the broader Home Chef business objectives
Foster an inclusive work environment that reflects Home Chef’s culture, enhances the employee experience, and boosts retention
Provide guidance to leaders and employees on company policies and HR program administration, ensuring consistent application and interpretation across the plant
Offer coaching and feedback to empower employees to achieve their full potential while leveraging HR metrics to analyze data, diagnose issues, and recommend effective solutions for the plant workforce
Drive continuous improvement within HR programs and processes, enabling the People team to scale in a high-growth environment.
Exhibit business maturity and strong emotional intelligence to coach, influence, and develop mid-level managers and employees.
Collaborate with managers to provide tools that drive talent retention, employee development, and organizational efficiency.
Develop and execute strategies to improve Organizational Health
Protects interest of employees and the company in accordance with company policies, governmental laws and regulations
Qualifications:

5 years experience in the Human Resources field, with at least 2 years as a HR Generalist or HR Business Partner
Completion of a four-year degree program in a related field: Human Resources or similar related field
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
Good computer skills (MS Office, Google Workspace, ATS, HRIS, etc)
Ability to speak effectively to groups of employees
Ability to handle multiple priorities, strong problem-solving skills, good judgment
Demonstrate success in designing, leading, and achieving projects and workgroup initiatives
Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Strong work ethic and initiative
Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000
