Responsibilities:

During the internship you will have the opportunity to work with several departments though your focus will be on assisting our Operations team. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Operations (Settlements, Investigations, Reconciliations): Learn the tasks associated with ensuring trades are executed in a timely and accurate manner, assist in resolving discrepancies or problems associated with settlements including conducting detailed research.

• Will obtain knowledge of compliance screening processes as well as AML and KYC regulations

• Obtain knowledge of SWIFT standards (MT202,(phone number removed)

• Learn to build and maintain relationships with correspondent banks in English or Spanish

• Sales: Develop strong knowledge of product offering, Learn about sales pitches and client presentations, cold & warm calls, client onboarding, development of marketing materials

• Client Services: Learn about client complaints, requests, and other concerns as well as client education and training

• Trading: Learn to effectively manage risk for spot payments, monitor and analyze market movements and quote currency prices

• Correspondent Banking: Learn about communication and relationship maintenance with correspondent banks including monitoring everchanging banking regulations

• Technology Services: Learn the SWIFT product offering and other relevant technology services

• IT (Product Management, Development, Production Services, Testing): Learn about analyzing and gathering project requirements, end-to-end testing, communication, and interaction with respective teams during different stages of projects

Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretion 

Sound verbal/written communication abilities 

Effective interpersonal skills 

Sense of urgency 

Honesty, curiosity, and tenacity 

Strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to detail 

The confidence to fail 

Early Careers Requirements 

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a relevant program and graduating between December 2025 and August 2026 (entering penultimate year of university) 

Available for a June 2025 start date for an 10 week program 

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (preferably Excel)

Fluency in Spanish is preferred  

Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer  

Working environment:

Hybrid (3-4 days)/In-office

Hiring Salary Range $20.00-$40.00/hr (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity and alignment with market data.)   Subject to business performance and recommendations of management, this role may be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.  This compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
