Overview:

Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 a year (DOE)

Location: 266 S Left Hand Fork Springville, UT 84663 (Hobble Creek Canyon)

Schedule: Monday - Friday (9 am - 5 pm) Flexible

Students live in a family style residence where community and interpersonal relationships are encouraged. Our staff offer guidance and support to adolescents and their families that include multi-modal family system approaches to amplify and solidify change.

Limited caseloads: No more that 8 that allow for establishing good rapport with clients.

Evidence-Based Practices: Emphasize your knowledge and experience with evidence-based therapeutic approaches and interventions (DBT, TF-CBT, Smart Recovery, Seeking Safety, ACT.)

Client-Centered Approach: Stress your commitment to providing client-centered care, tailoring therapy to meet individual, group & family therapy needs. 

Collaborative Care: Express a willingness to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, psychiatrists, and other specialists.

Ability to work with a diverse population and understanding cultural nuances is crucial, especially in a diverse area like Springville, UT. 

Maintain compliance with treatment standards through meticulous & timley documentation of notes and adherence to MTP (Master Treatment Plan) standard requirements.

Contribute to the achievement of program goals by implementing and meeting outcomes testing and standards.

Oversee the fulfillment of program completion and discharge requirements for all students: Most Critical Outcome is 80% of program completion for your caseload. 

Develop comprehensive discharge plans for students, ensuring thorough review with both students and their family members.

Qualifications:

Minimum master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences - Social Work (MSW,) Clinical Social Work (CSW,) Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) or a related discipline.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent.

A desire to facilitate client growth through a team approach, working with other care providers.

A desire to perform and develop counseling/therapeutic expertise in individual, family, and group therapy.

Preferred - Two years of working experience as a therapist leading individual, family, and group therapy sessions.

Preferred - One year of experience in a residential setting using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities.

Ability to plan, implement, and adjust a course of treatment as required.

Ability to pass a state background check.

Paid training program (Mastery) for years one through three of tenure. Salary is increased based on completion of the three modules during this time. Convert to Merit increases after that three year time frame.

Covered under Embark professional liability insurance for practice at Embark including tail coverage- not external coverage required
