Our client is a well-established, award-winning developer specialising in luxury residential new builds. With a reputation for delivering bespoke, high-quality homes in prime locations, they take pride in their craftsmanship, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence.

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

The Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in managing the financial aspects of luxury residential new builds. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed within budget while maintaining the high standards our client are known for. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the luxury residential sector and a proven track record of managing costs effectively.

Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all financial aspects of residential new build projects, from initial estimates to final accounts.
Prepare detailed cost plans, budgets, and bills of quantities for luxury residential projects.
Conduct regular cost reporting, including valuations, variations, and final accounts.
Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and high-quality service.
Oversee procurement processes and ensure timely delivery of materials and services to meet project schedules.
Liaise with architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure accurate cost forecasting and smooth project delivery.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
Provide regular financial updates and reports to senior management.
Monitor project cash flow and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with projects.
Attend site meetings to review progress and manage any cost-related issues.

Quantity Surveyor

Key Requirements:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the luxury residential sector is essential.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations related to high-end residential developments.
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and clients.
Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
MRICS or equivalent professional accreditation is desirable but not essential.
Full UK driving licence.
