Cost Manager - Manchester
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Are you an experienced Cost Manager looking to join a dynamic and forward-thinking consultancy? We are seeking a motivated individual to work with a leading consultancy in Manchester, supporting a diverse range of clients across commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities of the Cost Manager:
Provide cost management services from project inception to completion.
Manage project budgets, including cost planning, estimating, and reporting.
Conduct risk and value management.
Prepare tender documents, contracts, and procurement strategies.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality.Requirements of the Cost Manager:
Proven experience in a Cost Manager or Quantity Surveyor role.
Strong understanding of cost management, procurement, and contract administration.
A relevant qualification (e.g., RICS, MRICS, or equivalent).
Experience in managing projects across multiple sectors (commercial, residential, infrastructure).On offer for the Cost Manager:
Salary up to £45,000 dependent on experience.
25 days annual leave + public holidays (usually 33 days in total)
Pension matched up to 5%
