Senior Cost Manager/Senior Quantity Surveyor
Central Manchester; Private Sector projects
Circa £55,000 to £67,000 per annum (doe) plus a bonus of circa 10% and a flexi benefits package
Pillar Partnership are exclusively representing an independent consulting practice, who are experiencing a period of extreme (and impressive!) growth, as they look to bolster their Manchester office.

Our client is an SME, independent consultancy with a growing reputation in the market. Born out of one of the larger practices, our client delivers professional cost management and fund monitoring services to a variety of schemes across the construction sector, including residential, PBSA, commercial, retail and care homes (projects can range from £1-2m to £100m+). They believe in constant learning and class themselves as something of a “training business”; no matter your level, our client pushes for continuous improvement across the business which is delivered through training workshops, mentoring and a number of other initiatives. On top of this, they offer a clearly defined career path, giving everyone clarity on their progress through the business to eventual Directorship!
Put simply, due to continued growth, our client is looking for people with analytical brains who are determined and ambitious and are interested in working in an environment where they are trusted and pushed to be the best you can possibly be. This role will be based in the Central Manchester office which currently sits at a head count of just under 20 employees.
Our client is ideally seeking the following:
* Significant cost management/quantity surveying experience in a UK consulting environment.
* Project experience in either residential, commercial, PBSA, retail or leisure sectors preferred.
* Relevant construction/engineering degree
* MRICS preferred
* Good written report writing skills and stakeholder management experience.
* Eligible to work in the UK.
On offer for this role is a basic salary of between £55,000 and £67,000 per annum (dependent upon experience) plus a flexible benefits package, including pension, healthcare and a leading bonus of roughly 10% per annum (payable twice per year).
