Residential Support Worker
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £85 - £100 per day
Start Date: ASAP

GSL Education are currently seeking a Residential Support Worker to join a supportive school in Sheffield. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to work closely with children and young people, offering care and guidance in a residential setting.

Responsibilities of a Residential Support Worker:

Provide day-to-day care and support to students in a residential environment.
Help maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive atmosphere.
Assist with personal development and emotional well-being.
Work closely with other staff to ensure consistent support for the students.
Monitor and support students' daily routines, including meal times and activities.
Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.
Requirements for a Residential Support Worker:

Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a school or residential setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations.
A passion for supporting children and young people with special needs or behavioural challenges.
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or be willing to obtain one).
