Are you a Care Home Manager looking for a new exciting Opportunity? Our client a luxury care home provider operation outstanding care homes across the UK is seeking a Head of Care to lead their exceptional care home in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a encouraging team and make a real difference in the lives of residents.

This is a role with a competitive salary of £65,000 - £67,000 per year, offering fantastic progression opportunities and a bonus scheme. You'll also enjoy 25 days of leave plus bank holidays, ensuring a great work-life balance.

Our client is a prestigious retirement community featuring 34 exclusive retirement apartments and a 50-bed care home. They provide top-notch residential, dementia, and respite care, ensuring a high quality of life for their residents.

As the Head of Care, you will:

Coordinate the resident assessment process
Be registered to the Home through CQC
Involve residents in identifying their needs and preferences
Integrate all relevant information into the initial care plan
Oversee the Safe Medication Management programme
Ensure robust auditing procedures, including pharmacy-related processes
Identify any staff training needsPackage and Benefits:

The Head of Care role comes with a comprehensive package:

Annual salary of £65,000 - £67,000.
Bonus scheme.
25 days of leave plus bank holidays.
Opportunities for career progression.The ideal Head of Care candidate will have:

NVQ 4 in Care
preferably clinically qualified RGN/RMN.
Two years’ experience in long-term care or a similar industry.
Experience with CQC regulations
Registered Management is preferable but not essential
A proactive, flexible, and adaptable approach.If you have experience as a Care Home Manager, Clinical Lead, Nursing Home Manager, Registered Manager, or this Head of Care role could be perfect for you. Your skills and experience in these areas will be highly valued.
