What can you expect in this role?

Lead the way: Be the go-to expert, providing leadership and coaching to elevate safety and health standards across the site.
Drive safety performance: Conduct thorough audits and take charge of reporting, investigating, and preventing incidents and near misses.
Collaborate with the best: Engage with key stakeholders, including contractors, regulators, and enforcement agencies to strengthen safety initiatives.
Empower your team: Creating an impactful in-house training and inductions, shaping a culture of safety from day one.

What does this role offer you?

Competitive salary: £40,000 - £45,000 based on your experience.
Generous time off: 29 days of holiday + bank holidays.
Top-tier pension: Employer contribution of 12-14% with employee flexibility (5-7%).
Ownership opportunities: Share options valued at 20% of your salary.

Proven experience: A solid background in health, safety, and environment roles, ideally within manufacturing or chemical/industrial environments.
Qualifications that matter: NEBOSH Diploma preferred, NEBOSH Certificate required as a minimum.
Legislation know-how: Deep understanding of health and safety regulations.
A positive influencer: Enthusiastic, proactive, and ready to inspire a safety-first mindset.
