Installation and Service Administrator

OA is recruiting for an Installation and Service Administrator to join our client’s highly successful and growing team.

Our client is a leading security company, specialising in cutting-edge solutions for both residential and commercial clients. We’re looking for a proactive and organised individual to support their dynamic team.

This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth running of installation processes, from scheduling to completion.

Location: Borehamwood

Hours: Monday-Friday 09.00 - 17.00. Office based.

Salary: £25,000-£30,000 depending on experience.

Administrator - Key Responsibilities:

Act as the first point of contact for clients, handling service requests and installation queries, providing updates, and resolving any issues.
Schedule and coordinate engineer visits for maintenance and installations.
Maintain accurate service records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
Process job orders, contracts, reports, invoices, and compliance documentation.
Provide general administrative support to the service team and field engineers, including managing timesheets and job reports.
Process orders for new installations (Intruder Alarms, CCTV Systems, Access Control Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, and Portable Fire Extinguishers).
Liaise with suppliers, clients, the Police, monitoring stations, and other relevant parties to ensure smooth operations.
Assist in preparing invoices for completed installations and handle related billing queries.
Administrator - Skills and Experience:

Dynamic, bubbly and outgoing.
Strong organisation skills, with excellent attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook with a working knowledge of Excel.
Proven experience in an administrative or coordinator role, ideally within the security, construction, or engineering industries.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Familiarity with job management or scheduling software is advantageous.
