Senior Residential Support Worker
Location: Burton-on-Trent
Salary: £31,600
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join their team at a 4-bedded therapeutic children's residential service based in Burton-on-Trent. As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing day-to-day support and guidance to a team of support workers.
* Contributing to the development and implementation of care plans in collaboration with other professionals.
* Ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people at all times.
* Promoting a nurturing and therapeutic environment within the residential service.
* Actively engaging children and young people in meaningful activities and experiences.
* Administering medication and maintaining accurate records as required.
Requirements:
* Level 3/4 qualification in children and young people (or equivalent).
* Full UK driving license.
* At least 2 years of supervisory experience in children's residential care.
* Experience working with children and young people with EBD.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
* Flexibility to work shifts, including long days, weekends, and sleep-ins.
