If you are an experienced Financial Controller with impeccable communication skills and the ability to work in a hands-on technical capacity, we have an exciting opportunity we would like to discuss with you.
Please note this role would also suit someone with the ability to step up into the role of Financial Controller too.
There is a requirement to work onsite in Watford 50% of the time per month.
The successful candidate must be ACA OR ACCA qualified.
Essential experience:
1. Banking arrangements and card acquiring.
2. IFRS 15, and accounting for it, including the related costs.
3. IFRS 16, and accounting for it.
4. Preparing cash-flow reporting for financial statements.
5. Preparing financial statements for audit.
6. Working with auditors and the finance team to deliver an efficient and timely audit.
7. Liaising with external tax advisors in the preparation of tax computations.
8. Managing a finance team and their work on day-to-day, month-end and year-end accounting.
9. Identifying and maintaining key check-list items for close-off and post close-off procedures, including reconciliations.
10. Being hands-on.
11. Comfortable with dealing with senior colleagues
