As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to the residents. Key duties include:
Assist residents with personal care
Will predominantly be on a 1:1 basis
Help residents with mobility and physical activities, including transferring from bed to chair.
Monitor and record residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes to senior staff.
Provide companionship and engage residents in activities to promote mental and emotional health.
Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
Follow care plans and ensure the highest standards of care are maintained. Requirements:
Previous experience in a care setting is preferred.
Compassionate and caring nature with a strong desire to help others.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (desirable).
