QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Location - Plymouth, Devon
Duration - 6 Months with a possible extension
Rate - £(Apply online only) per shift (Inside IR35)
I am currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to work on a major civil engineering project based in Devonport, Plymouth.
QUANTITY SURVEYOR RESPONSIBILITIES
The main purpose of this role is to subcontract management, so liaising with subcontractors and overseeing sub contract invoicing etc.
Assist in resolving contractual issues, extensions, loss and/or expense claims, terms & conditions
Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risk
Carry out commercial activities to meet the Project objectives, including providing advice, guidance & support on such matters to the Project team
QUANTITY SURVEYOR REQUIREMENTS:
Previous major project experience would be ideal
Prior experience of dealing with subcontracts
BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent
Worked with / for Tier 1 contractors
Experience with NEC contracts
