Full-Time
To assist the Registered Manager for day-to-day running of the agency.
To deputize for the function of the Registered Manager during his/her absence, while at all times supporting the decisions made by the Registered Manager
To promote a caring environment for service users through high standards of professional practice which are conducive to the physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual needs of the service users.
To ensure that each service user receives care appropriate to their individual need.
To implement the requirements of the Health and Social Care Act 2008.
Principal Responsibilities
Day-to-day running of the agency:
1.
Assisting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the agency whenever asked to by the management
1.
Develop effective working relationships all other staff and Field Care Supervisors of the agency
1.
Positively and fully support implement the decisions of the Registered Manager
1.
Create and uphold an open, positive and inclusive management culture.
1.
Participate in the maintenance of the agency’s management information systems.
1.
providing all relevant information and leaflets to prospective new service users and visiting them in their home for a discussion when required
1.
assisting the Registered Manager in arranging and assessing trial visits if and when required
1.
ensuring that each new service user receives a written copy of the terms and conditions of engagement and that each service user and, where appropriate, their representative or carer, understands them
2.
Assisting the Office Administrator to load and update the necessary data into the Homecare Rostering Software
3.
investigating complaints, taking appropriate action and reporting to the person-in-control and/or the CQC if and when required
Service user care:
1.
ensuring that the emotional, spiritual, physical, medical and material needs of the service users are recognised, assessed and met
1.
making or contributing to the assessment of need of each service user in conjunction with the service user, relevant professional agencies and, where appropriate, the service user’s family, and developing a service user’s plan which provides a satisfactory quality of life for that person if and when required
1.
ensuring the provision of healthcare arrangements which may include the ordering, recording and, where appropriate, the administration of prescribed medication
1.
The Agency Coordinator will be expected to provide physical, social, and emotional support and assistance to the service users who need help with their personal and domestic needs in case of emergencies, holiday or sickness.
1.
Evaluate Care Plans.
1.
To arrange staff rotas
Staff matters:
1.
assisting the Registered Manager with recruitment, appointment and deployment of all staff when required
1.
assisting the registered manager to ensure that there is good communication with and between staff and arranging staff meetings, supervisions, and appraisals if and when required
Responsibilities concerning Administrative Duties:
*
Process incoming and outgoing mail.
*
Organising the preparation of file for the service user and staff records.
*
Ensure service user records are in a good state of repair.
*
Assisting the input data to the agency’s computer system.
*
Assist in production of information for audit and inspection.
*
Process changes to service user and staff information on the computer and paper records when required.
*
Attend and participate in the staff meetings.
*
Carrying out the administrative duties during the day to day management, such as: filing pulling of records word processing copying faxing checking emails Preparation of documents.
Person Specification — Essential Criteria
The following qualities are considered essential for the post of care-coordinator
1.
at least one yeas experience in a community work
1.
a management qualification or care qualification and/or working towards equivalent minimum to NVQ level 3. .
Driver lincence required
