Responsibilities:
Business Justification
The traffic technology team is needing a project manager that has project management experience along with network experience to guide TDOT and contractors to completion of many traffic related projects.
A few projects that they will be working on, End of Life Equipment replacement, TMC Resiliency, SDWAN and the Flood Warning system expansion.
Client works to be accomplished:
Oversees various IID Traffic Technologies projects. Examples of projects would be but not limited to: End of Life Equipment replacement, SDWAN expansion, Traffic Management Center Resiliency, Traffic technology various system expansions.
Qualifications:
Minimum (Required):
Years
Skills/Experience
8+
Experience in delivering network projects, and products in a highly technical dispersed multi-team environment (of those & years, we would like at least 5 in Network project management).
8+
Experience to engage multiple technical teams to drive consistent expectations towards Project goals
8+
Knowledge of Network Infrastructure.
8+
Possess strong verbal and written skills in communicating with peers and different levels of users including executive staff.
8+
Skilled in facilitating large group meetings with internal and
8+
Skilled in collaborating with the technical and functional teams to develop the Technical Specification and other documents need in support of the solution
Preferred (Optional):

Experience With Intelligent transportation systems Is a plus
Experience with one or more of the State of Texas government agencies
Experience with multivendor and professional services.
PMP certification is a plus.
Experience with SWAN projects
