Our client is a growing Chemicals Manufacturer with strong expansion plans looking to welcome a Quality, Safety & Environmental Coordinator to the team.
Perhaps you're an experienced Quality or Environmental professional within a Manufacturing setting?
Or maybe you're a Chemistry, Environmental Science or Quality graduate with a relevant placement or internship?
Who This Job Would Suit:
This position is ideal for an individual with a background in quality management or environmental science. If you have experience with ISO9001:2015, internal auditing, and strong communication skills, this role will allow you to apply and expand your expertise within a dynamic and supportive work environment. A self-starter with enthusiasm for compliance and environmental initiatives will thrive here.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
Ensure systems are in place to meet HACCP & Hygiene requirements.
Conduct internal audits and maintain quality procedures and documentation.
Coordinate health and safety policies, including risk assessments and site inspections.
Manage environmental testing and liaise with relevant regulatory bodies.
Assist with waste management.
Assist the QSE Manager and Factory Director with additional tasks as required.Requirements:
Proven experience in Quality or Environmental role
Experience within Manufacturing preferred - Chemicals, Food (HACCP) or similar
Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Quality Management or similar
Location: Blackburn
Permanent: £30k-£35k (dependent on experience)
Hours: 08:00 - 1700 (Mon-Thurs), 08:00 - 1500 (Fri)
