The Role
Using the CAD toolset to produce 3D models of electrical routed systems and electrical equipment integration e.g. switchboards and power units etc.
Mature and develop 2D electrical schematics / system diagrams
Producing outputs (including 2D drawings and electronic data) to support manufacturing, installation and testing of our products
Developing and maintaining close working relationships with other design teams and stakeholders
Working as a team to produce an integrated design that meets the customer's expectations and agreed set of requirements
Experience
Relevant apprenticeship, engineering qualification or previous experience as an Electrical Designer / Draughtsperson e.g. HNC, ONC or degree qualification in relevant STEM subject or equivalent work experience
Experience in electrical compartment integration and Engineering Standards at component and sub-component / assembly level
Knowledge and understanding of electrical routed systems at both 2D and 3D level
Understanding of CAD toolsets and techniques
