Career Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Food Technology Teacher (Must hold QTS / QTLS), for a secondary school based in Birmingham. This is a full time role to start immediately on a temporary, long term supply basis.

You will be working in a vibrant and inclusive secondary school who are dedicated to fostering academic excellence and personal growth for their students. They offer a nurturing and positive environment where both students and staff and encouraged to reach their full potential.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher with experience teaching Food at KS3-4 and a commitment to inspiring and educate students. You will be responsible for delivering high quality Food lessons, preparing students for academic success and instilling a lifelong love of learning.

Qualifications & Requirements of Food Technology Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in Food or a related field
Right to work in the UK.
Experience teaching Food at key stage 3 and 4.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Passionate and dedicated to teaching and learning.
Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS check on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
Have up-to-date safeguarding training; Career Teachers offer FREE online Safeguarding training
Provide a full 10-year career history and references to cover the last 2 years including current and previous employers.
