Are you a qualified Food Technology teacher seeking a new opportunity in Birmingham ASAP? Are you a Design Technology Teacher who has experience teaching KS3 & KS4 Food? We are currently recruiting a dynamic and passionate Food Technology teacher to join a prestigious mixed secondary school in Birmingham, starting ASAP, 5 days per week until December in the first instance.

As a Food Technology teacher at this Birmingham secondary school, you will have the exciting responsibility of planning, delivering, and evaluating engaging lessons in both practical and classroom settings. Your positive and confident approach to behaviour management, along with your ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to the evolving needs of students, will be key to your success. It is essential that you have experience teaching Food Technology up to GCSE level.

To excel in this role, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS), or equivalent further education qualifications like PGCE14+ or Certificate of Education. The school also welcomes applications from unqualified candidates with experience teaching vocational catering courses to adults. As part of the application process, you will undergo an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and provide professional references.
