Expleo Engineering are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer - VCATS to support the delivery of vehicle programmes from original concept and design, through to manufacturing feasibility and into current production. This will be a permanent role based at our client's site in Stratford-on-Avon.

Responsibilities of the Senior Manufacturing Engineer - VCATS include:
* Facilitate and participate in improvement projects, shopfloor performance reviews and value stream groups.
* Own focussed improvement process - driving down losses in the plant.
* Plan key improvements for critical measures such as build efficiency, waste, and process risk optimisation.
* Identify and support of CI activities that will create value, leading focussed improvement initiatives, six sigma projects and FMEA risk reduction activities.
* Verify effectiveness of new tools and sustained application in process.
* Mentor others in the application of process and procedures supporting standardised workflows.

Background, skills and experience required for the Senior Manufacturing Engineer - VCATS role:
* ONC, HNC or Degree level educated within a related Engineering discipline and/or relevant experience in the Automotive/Aerospace industry.
* Previous engineering experience, particularly related to VCATS.
* Working knowledge of Siemens Teamcentre or NX.
* Familiarity with facility and tooling requirements, standardised process documentation, PFMEA, Process control plans and layout planning
* Ideally skilled within Autocad layout drawing, 3D printing /model creation, data manipulation and BOM management.
