The Stock and Purchase Controller will be responsible for managing stock levels and making key purchasing decisions in the industrial/manufacturing sector. This role will be based in Chesterfield and will be a part of the Procurement & Supply Chain department.

Description

Manage and monitor stock levels across various departments.
Make informed purchasing decisions to ensure optimal stock levels.
Collaborate with the Procurement & Supply Chain department to streamline operations.
Ensure timely supply of materials to meet production schedules.
Conduct regular inventory audits.
Work closely with suppliers to maintain good relationships and negotiate contracts.
Forecast future supply needs based on sales data and trends.
Implement strategies to reduce waste and increase efficiency.Profile

A successful Stock and Purchase Controller should have:

A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
Knowledge of inventory management and procurement principles.
Strong analytical skills to forecast demand and manage inventory.
Excellent negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers.
Proficiency in using inventory management software.Job Offer

An annual salary £24,000.
23 holiday days plus bank holidays.
