Your New Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Quality Manager to join our Staffordshire County Council Account in Stafford.

The salary is up to £48,000pa depending on experience.

Amey have been working with Staffordshire County Council since 2014 to manage and maintain the county's highways infrastructure. We take pride in delivering exceptional infrastructure services across 6,000KM of Staffordshire, ensuring roads, cycle routes, bridges, tunnels, lighting, drainage, traffic signals, trees, and land are well-maintained to enhance the lives of local residents and communities.

A Quality Manager plays an important role in Coordinating, maintaining and improving the existing Quality Assurance processes within the contract and to take a lead on client liaison regarding quality management within the contract.

The standard hours of work are 37.5 hrs, Monday – Friday

You will be responsible for:

Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the Company’s integrated management system, focusing on Quality.
Develop, implement, and report on Quality-related Key Performance Measures.
Lead internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with quality standards like the National Highways Sector scheme and ISO 44001 (Collaborative Business Relationships).
Coordinate the attainment and maintenance of ISO 55001 (Asset Management) standard.
Maintain contract-specific Quality Scorecards and support the Integrated Account Plan and Site Plans.
Serve as the primary client contact for quality matters and assist the Account Director and H&S Advisor.
Conduct regular audits, manage non-conformance registers, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. We want to hear from you if you have or are working towards:
