About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time English Teacher to support a Cheltenham secondary school from January 2025. This is an ongoing position, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on our students' educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and effective English lessons across various year groups.
Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials in line with the curriculum.
Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback.
Organise and participate in parents' evenings and other school events.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Support students' academic and personal development.Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience teaching English at secondary level.
Strong classroom management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
