Lead Engineer – Mechanical and Electrical

We are looking for a Lead Engineer to join the M&E Division of our Property Services department, providing a multi-skilled maintenance service, and to supervise and lead a team of engineers and contractors.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
* Supervise and lead a team of engineers and contractors, ensuring efficient operation and maintenance of building systems
* Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance tasks
* Oversee and manage electrical & mechanical systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulations
* Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults efficiently
* Always maintain a high standard of safety and compliance
* Collaborate with team members, contractors, and management to ensure smooth operation of facilities
* Reviewing RAMs, Estimating, and ordering Materials
Experience and qualifications required:
* Experience within a Maintenance / Facilities Management environment
* Knowledge of Health & Safety
* Capability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces
* General maintenance including basic plumbing, carpentry and electrical works
* Full Driving Licence (not essential)
* Previous experience with Mechanical & Electrical servicing & maintenance.
* Good customer service skills
* City & Guilds certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering discipline
* Previous use of handheld technology and email
Job Type: Permanent and Full time
Salary:
£45k - £52k per annum
Working Hours:
8:00 – 17:00 with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break
Monday to Friday
